McKinley Spring Spruce Up Day!

McKinley Eagles were out in full force to beautify our school grounds in honor of Earth Day. Students tended our garden, planted seeds, decorated tree stump slices for a walkway through the garden, painted wood pallets that will be used to make a compost bin, made bird feeders, decorated new trash cans, picked up trash, raked and bagged leaves and swept wood chips off the blacktop. Whew! Our playground, field, garden and fence line look fantastic thanks to the hard work of our students who took ownership for their school and showed their McKinley pride and spirit!
