DMPS student assistance program The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is designed to be a FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, rapid response intervention for students and their families to help children and families have better success in school. Regardless of the difficulties, we are here to help! The Des Moines Public School System is partnering with MOSAIC FAMILY Counseling Center, Inc to deliver the services its students and their families need to help with current difficult behaviors and help families plan for successful outcomes for their children.
Orchard Place Orchard Place offers comprehensive mental health and behavioral health services designed specifically for children and adolescents. These services are delivered by compassionate and highly trained physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, residential treatment staff and psychologists.
Employee and Family Resources At EFR, our team specializes in prevention, intervention, and treatment for substance use disorders and behavioral health issues, all under one roof. Moreover, we provide a judgement-free environment that only seeks to help.

The Strengthening Center The Strengthening Center is a privately owned mental health practice dedicated to providing diverse mental health services to Central Iowa and surrounding communities.
Thriving Families Counseling Offers effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. Treating a number of mental health disorders, and providing a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.
Monsoon Iowa Monsoon provides direct services to all Asian and Pacific Islander victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, including males and the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) communities. In fact, Monsoon has assisted victims from other marginalized groups as walk-ins and through referrals. Community education and outreach are an important component of Monsoon’s services as well.   The organization also runs a violence prevention program, focusing primarily on youths. In addition, Monsoon offers technical assistance to other programs and agencies, locally and nationally.

The Young Women’s Resource Center The Young Women’s Resource Center provides a wide variety of programs for girls and young women* ages 10 – 24 that help them gain confidence in who they are, providing them with effective problem solving and coping skills so they can make informed decisions in their future. Programs are centered on building resiliency, self-esteem, healthy decision making, confidence, healthy relationships, and knowledge.
